1. Morning Brush

If you brush for over 4 minutes, twice daily, you could destroy the enamel layer that protects your teeth. If tooth enamel is not present, it exposes a layer of dentin. Dentin has tiny holes which lead to ends of the nerves. You may experience pain when this show. 4. Do Not Brush Too Hard
Brushing your teeth too hard can also cause enamel loss. It is critical that you brush your teeth with the utmost ease and care. Applying force to the teeth will cause wearing away of the surface layer. When brushing, make sure you are gently pushing back and forth in brief motion. Replace your toothbrush every 3 months or if the bristles seem to be worn away.
5. Make Sure You Floss Daily
Your oral hygiene routine should always include flossing. Flossing helps sweep away the debris and residue left behind. Careful rinsing and flossing will help remove plaque and prevent the teeth and gum line from building up. Note that brushing by itself is not enough to clean the teeth properly.
6. Stay Away From Soda
Drinks like soda induces acid formation when ingested. When this happens, the enamel may strip away and cause damage to surface of the teeth. Therefore, it is best to avoid the intake of high sugar content foods and drinks. If you drink soda, do so in moderation to prevent the acid’s adverse effects. Soda intake will stain and discolor your teeth.
